Android TV Box — Setup Guide

Android TV boxes offer the most flexibility for IPTV, supporting all Android apps including TiviMate, IPTV Smarters, and OTT Navigator.

Setup Steps

Step 1: Connect and Set Up

Connect your Android box to your TV via HDMI and power it on. Complete the initial Android setup if first time.

Step 2: Install IPTV App

Go to the Google Play Store on your Android box. Search for and install one of:

  • TiviMate (recommended for Android TV)
  • IPTV Smarters Pro
  • OTT Navigator

Step 3: Open and Configure

Open your chosen app. You’ll be prompted to add a playlist or login.

Step 4: Add World Media Server

Enter your M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials from your welcome email. The app will load your channels automatically.

Step 5: Enjoy

Browse through your channels, set up favourites, and enjoy 4K streaming on your big screen.

Tips

  • Android boxes with Amlogic S905X4 or Rockchip RK3566 chips handle 4K HDR smoothly
  • Install Ethernet adapter if your box only has WiFi for better stability
  • Enable Developer Mode for sideloading apps if needed (tap Build Number 7 times)
  • Keep Android system updated for security and performance improvements
