Enigma2 / Dreambox — Setup Guide

Configure IPTV on Enigma2 receivers like Dreambox, VU+, and other Linux-based satellite boxes using the XtreamTV plugin.

Setup Steps

Step 1: Install XtreamTV Plugin

Download and install the XtreamTV plugin on your Enigma2 receiver via the plugin manager (Blue button → Plugin Browser).

Step 2: Access Plugin Settings

Go to Plugins and find XtreamTV. Open the settings menu.

Step 3: Enter Server Details

Enter your World Media Server Xtream Codes server URL, username, and password from the welcome email.

Step 4: Download Channels

Select Download to fetch your channel list from the server.

Step 5: Access IPTV

Return to the main menu. Your IPTV channels will appear in a new bouquet called “IPTV”.

Alternative: Autoscript Method

  1. Access your receiver via Telnet or SSH
  2. Run the autoscript installation command
  3. Enter your credentials when prompted
  4. The script automatically creates channel bouquets

Tips

  • Autoscript method is faster and more reliable than manual plugin install
  • Make sure your receiver has at least 100MB of free storage
  • Some receivers may require the E2iPlayer plugin instead
  • After updating your subscription, re-download channels from the plugin to refresh
