Samsung Smart TV — Setup Guide

Set up IPTV directly on your Samsung Tizen Smart TV using the Smart IPTV app — no extra hardware needed.

Setup Steps

Step 1: Install Smart IPTV

Press Home on your remote, go to Apps, search for “Smart IPTV” and install it.

Step 2: Note Your MAC Address

Open the Smart IPTV app. Your TV’s MAC address is displayed on the welcome screen. Write it down.

Step 3: Configure via Web

On your computer or phone, visit the Smart IPTV website. Enter your TV’s MAC address and paste your World Media Server M3U URL.

Step 4: Add EPG (Optional)

In the same web interface, add your EPG URL for programme guide information. Enable EPG and save.

Step 5: Reload on TV

Press the Red button on your Samsung remote while Smart IPTV is open to reload the playlist. Channels will appear within 1-2 minutes.

Tips

  • Keep your TV firmware updated for best app compatibility
  • Use 5GHz WiFi or Ethernet for stable streaming
  • Clear app cache if performance degrades: Settings → Support → Device Care
  • Smart IPTV has a one-time activation fee of approximately €5.49
