TiviMate — Setup Guide

Setup Steps

Step 1: Install TiviMate

Search for “TiviMate” in the Google Play Store (Android TV) or install via the Downloader app (Fire Stick). The basic version is free.

Step 2: Open TiviMate

On first launch, you’ll see a setup screen. Tap Add Playlist.

Step 3: Select M3U Playlist

Choose M3U Playlist from the options. Enter your World Media Server M3U URL when prompted.

Step 4: Name Your Playlist

Give your playlist a name (e.g., “World Media Server”) and tap Next.

Step 5: Wait for Channel Load

TiviMate will download and parse your channel list. This takes 30-60 seconds. Once complete, you’ll see your channel categories.

Step 6: Add EPG (Optional)

Go to Settings → EPG Sources → Add EPG Source, enter your XMLTV EPG URL, and save.

Tips

  • TiviMate Premium (€4.99/year) adds recording, multiple profiles, and catch-up support
  • Pin favourite channels to the top of your list for quick access
  • Use the Catch-up feature to watch programmes you missed (where supported)
  • Enable Auto-update playlist to keep your channel list current
  • The EPG view shows a 7-day programme guide for most channels
